Mark Crawford Writings

Terms

1. Who you buy from

You buy from eventNET, Guido Blanke, Hofenstrasse 20A, 9300 Wittenbach, Switzerland (see the imprint). eventNET sells the books of Mark Crawford on his behalf.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you buy the book from Stripe instead: Stripe acts as the seller (merchant of record) through its service Stripe Managed Payments, charges the VAT due in your country and sends you the receipt. Stripe’s terms apply to that purchase in addition to these terms: stripe.com/legal/managed-payments. The book itself, the download and your licence (sections 2 and 4) come from us as usual.

When you order, you confirm the country you live in; Stripe asks for your billing address. A tip (section 7) is always a payment to eventNET, wherever you live.

2. What you get

The books are sold as PDF files to download. There is no printed copy. Right after payment you get a download link on the confirmation page and by email. The link in the email works for 30 days; after that your books stay available under My account, where you sign in with a link we email you.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars, euros or Swiss francs, as you choose. No VAT is charged on sales by eventNET; eventNET is not registered for VAT. For buyers in the EU or the UK the price includes the VAT that Stripe charges as the seller. Payment is by card or the other methods Stripe offers on its payment page. The contract is made when the payment has gone through.

4. Your licence

You may read the book on your own devices and print it for yourself. You may not share, resell, upload or otherwise pass on the file or parts of it. Each copy carries your email address, your order number and a copy ID on every page.

5. No withdrawal after delivery

The book is delivered right after payment, so an order cannot be withdrawn once it is paid. If something is wrong with your copy, see section 6.

6. Problems with a download

If a file does not open or is damaged, write to info@markcrawford079.com and we will send you a working copy or refund you.

7. Tips

A tip under “Leave a tip” is a voluntary payment for the content already published on markcrawford079.com (books, short stories, blog, paintings and photos). It goes to eventNET as the publisher of the website; Mark Crawford does not receive it. You get nothing further in return, and it is not a donation to a charity and not tax-deductible. If you paid the wrong amount by mistake, contact us within 14 days and we refund it.

8. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid, as far as the law allows.

9. Law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen, Switzerland. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply, and you can also go to court there.
